Cancer of unknown origin in gynaecologic oncology

Tumour of unknown primary (primum ignotum) is a metastatic disease that generally shows poor response to treatment and prognosis. Although it exhibits trend decreasing incidence, the diagnostic processes are complicated. The available literature 5–30% metastases involve ovary, but remains unclear how often ovarian infiltration found in tumours primary. most common affects ovaries malignant gastrointestinal tract, breast, pancreas, haematological malignancies. Usually, first step distinguish between secondary tumour ovary an ultrasound examination, where have some characteristic features. Here we report our experience with primum ignotum patient simultaneous bone marrow involvement.
